Sadhana Camp Seminar in Strilky Ashram, 6 August 2014
At the Advanced Teacher Training Sadhana Camp in Strilky, Czech Republic, yoga teachers are studying and working thoroughly, under the leadership of His Holiness Swamiji.
During this week there is comprehensive training being provided in all aspects of health: physical, mental, social and spiritual.
Yoga teachers have been divided into six groups, rotating daily to attend workshops led by six international teams of senior Yoga in Daily Life teachers. A variety of topics are covered, giving teachers deeper understanding for their own personal sadhana and for teaching the master system Yoga in Daily Life to their students. The Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Course hands over teaching in areas of both practical and intellectual knowledge, including: classical yoga literature and philosophy, asanas, pranayama, and of course self-inquiry meditation.
At the same time as the Teacher Training Course, for non-teachers there are two other levels which can be chosen for practicing for physical health, regeneration, and peace of mind. These groups work with asanas, relaxation and yoga nidra, pranayama, and meditation of Yoga in Daily Life.
All groups get the benefit of daily lectures and satsangs from His Holiness Abunathswami Maheshwaranandaji. Alternative programs also take place, such as going for a walk in the surrounding forests, or having a video session about environmental protection.
