Finally, the day arrived for the peak of the Grand Opening ceremonies for OM Ashram – eager with anticipation, everyone gathered in front of the Shiva Temple after morning sadhana, and awaited the arrival of Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Ji.

The Prime Minister of India, the Honourable Narendra Modi Ji sent a message of congratulations for the Grand Opening of OM Ashram. 

On 16 February, the fifth golden Kalash was lifted onto the big Samran (the temple dome above Holy Guruji's Samadhi) and the largest Kalash dedicated by Vishwaguruji, was installed on the Sikhar (top of the Shiva Lingam Mandir), together with the Dayadanda (golden flag) on 17 February. 

14 - 17 February 2024

Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Ji led special pujas (Vedic ceremonies) performed by pandits for the five remaining Kalashas. Kalashas are placed at the top of temple domes and these golden spires will keep the spiritual energy of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara in OM Ashram forever.

Various rich cultural and spiritual events accompany the Grand Opening of the OM Ashram.

Whether it is a king or common people, a true Guru is like a tree or rain, equal and always there for everyone.

On the second day of opening ceremonies, all present enjoyed the beautiful Ashtottara Shivmahapurana Katha, which will be held continuously by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Chidambaranada Saraswatiji till the Grand Opening day on 19 February. After the regular evening prayer, the satsang erupted with devotion and joy, with bhajans performed by the bhajan band from Mumbai with famous singer, Satish Dehra.

The first day of ten days of traditional ceremonies has started the process of Prana Pratishtha , which will culminate in the Grand Opening on 19 February to consecrate the magnificent OM Ashram Temple Complex.
