Days for Kalash consecrations and installations on top of OM Ashram
14 - 17 February 2024
Vishwaguru Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda Ji led special pujas (Vedic ceremonies) performed by pandits for the five remaining Kalashas. Kalashas are placed at the top of temple domes and these golden spires will keep the spiritual energy of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara in OM Ashram forever.
On 14 February, the Prashad Purush Puja was performed for all five golden Kalashas. After the puja, Vishwaguruji went with some of his sannyasis (monastics) to the top of the Shiva temple to consecrate the place with mantras and ceremonies.
On 15 February, three of the Kalashas were installed on the domes of the ashram, sent up in the air with mantras and the blessings of Gurudev and visiting mahamandaleshwars, sannyasis and bhaktas of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara and mahamandaleshwars of Maha Nirvani Akhara who regularly visit OM Ashram these days, giving their blessing to this holy occasion of the OM Ashram Pran Pratishta process. These special guests included Mahamandaleshwar Vidya Giriji, from Punjab, Mahamandaleshwar Aksharanand Giriji, from Jammu, and Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vishwatmanand Maharaj.
On 16 February, another Kalash will be lifted onto the big Samran (the temple dome above Holy Guruji's Samadhi) and the biggest golden Kalash will be installed on the Sikhar (top of the Shiva Lingam Mandir) after the Dayadanda (golden flag) has been installed in its position next to that.
