Yoga in Daily Life Summer Camp in Vep, Hungary
Vishwaguruji traditionally dedicates part of summer to his European bhaktas with a seminar in Vep, Hungary. Together with Strilky Ashram, Vep College has beautiful and peaceful surrounding nature, full of prana - perfect places for a Summer Yoga Sadhana Camp.
Here in the lap of Mother Nature it is so easy and natural to practice yoga and enjoy satsangs and lectures with Vishwaguruji. During the past decades many of Vishwaguruji's disciples have received mantra or kriya diksha here in Vep, had divine experiences in the intensive Kriya Anusthan program, and deep realizations in satsangs with Gurudev, so Vep has become special place for thousands of disciples and practitioners of Yoga in Daily Life.
The main topic of Vishwaguruji’s lectures during these two weeks was Prana and Pranayama and this subject will continue in Strilky too.
Vishwaguruji explained the importance of Pranayama: "Pranayama plays an essential role in reaching Dharana, concentration. Dharana leads us to meditation and higher consciousness. The wisdom and blessing of the Master is like a waterfall which comes from Heaven. Practicing Pranayama can lead us directly to the highest, pure joy called Brahmananda."
Guru Purnima is the most important holiday for all disciples. It is said that it is special blessing to be with your Master on that day. Vishwaguruji fulfilled the wish of many bhaktas and gave a Guru Purnima satsang in Vep a little earlier than the official Guru Purnima date for this year, which is 20 July.
In Gurudev’s kingdom everything is possible and Vishwaguruji explained: "Same as the western world celebrate Christmas for a whole month, people should celebrate great festivals for many days."
Throughout the whole day, His Holiness Vishwaguru Swami Maheshwaranandaji gave lectures and received bhaktas from many countries for his darshan (spiritual meeting of a saint).
"Guru Purnima is the day when the first sun ray reached the Earth and life began. The divine principle of Guru Tattva removes the darkness and illuminates everything. That Light, that flame, is Parabrahma, the Supreme. Without that Light, the darkness of ignorance cannot be removed. When we see how wisdom has transformed our life, we feel grateful for all that has come our way. Guru Purnima is the day to be grateful and on that day we pray to the Masters. Without their blessing, liberation is not possible. I pray to all saints and holy incarnations to bless you with Light, Love and Wisdom."
