The topic of Vishwaguruji's first evening lecture at the Vancouver Yoga in Daily Life Center was 'Yoga - Awakening the Fire Within'.

The satsang in Vancouver was followed by a 5-day Spiritual Retreat. Bhaktas from Vancouver and other parts of North America travelled to Xenia Retreat Center, a 38-acre sanctuary on Bowen Island near Vancouver, British Columbia, to enjoy satsangs and lectures on 'Chakras, Kundalini and the Manipur Chakra'.

Bowen Island is an idyllic destination in the middle of Howe Sound, a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. Quiet and alluring, a short distance from Vancouver, it’s a welcome escape from the stresses of city life.
