21 September 2023 – Vishwaguruji Paramhans Maheshwarananda travelled to Indore and Omkareshwar, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, to attend the unveiling ceremony of Ekatmata Ki Pratima or the 'Statue of Oneness', depicting the founder of Advaita Vedanta philosophy and renowned Vedic scholar, Adi Shankaracharya, as well as the laying of the foundation stone of Advaita Lok

The whole project, named Ekatma Dham, will include the development of the Advaita Lok museum, showcasing the life and philosophy of this great saint.

This important event was attended by many acharyas, mahamandaleshwars, saints and sadhus, and also many distinguished guests and politicians.

The magnificent monument is situated on a high hill in the centre of Mandhata Island on the Narmada River, in the holy town of Omkareshwar, as an eternal reminder of the Advaita Vedanta philosophy and the life and teachings of the revered saint Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The statue is also visible from afar, with a total height raised from the ground of 60m, and the statue itself 33m high.

There was a huge crowd and, during the ceremony, Vishwaguruji stood with the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Sri Shivraj Chauhan, and his wife.
